How do I prepare ahead of a plumber installing Sonic?

Here are a few things to check before Sonic Wi-Fi is installed by your plumber:

• Ensure there's enough space for Sonic's shut-off valve handle to fully open and close

• Ensure there’s enough space to replace the batteries

• Check you have enough space for the installation, typically the size of a shoebox, but you can find out more in our installation guide: https://www.watergate.ai/plumbers-guide/)

• Ensure you have stable Wi-Fi where you are going to have Sonic installed—2.4 Ghz

• Make sure you have mains power within 1.8 m of where Sonic Wi-Fi will be installed (or prepare a low voltage extension cord)

• Make sure you know where your stopcock is

• Ensure Sonic is never installed upstream of a fire suppression sprinkler system or water tank

• Make sure your installer is a trained and certified plumber with good reviews
